Tangalle

Start of journey Galle city from Tangalle early morning.One of the traditional fishing methods of Southern Province of Sri Lanka which comes generation to generation. Fishermen sitting on a narrow pole which fixed to the sand bed of Ocean. They never use bait and only attend the only morning, noon or evening. It is a way of living with a patient because fishermen have to wait more hours to capture a fish.

Mirissa beach-Mirissa has one of Sri Lanka’s safest beaches. Mirissa has without doubt the best beach in the Deep South of Sri Lanka.Mirissa consists of secluded crescent shaped beaches and the shoreline is blanketed with a long line of coconut trees.

Waligama beach-Waligama beach is One of the best surfing spots in Sri Lanka. The bay has a completely sandy bottom and no rips thus a great place to learn surfing safely. It does however regularly get bigger swells up to 10 feet which can challenge even very good surfers. Ocean may be rough off season.

Tea plantation-200 acre plantation of tea, rubber, cinnamon and coconuts with a tea factory. Most machines were made in UK and are 140 years old. The factory is a living and working museum. The estate makes small quantities of the best teas, winning international recognition. Handunugoda produces the famous ‘Virgin White Tea’, a tea untouched by hand renowned all over the world.

Yala National Park

Yala National Park known as Ruhuna National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri LankaThe most visited Reserve in Sri Lanka and it is famous for Leopards. Park consists of dense jungles, lagoon, fresh water lake, beaches and large rocky outcrops. The reserve is mainly a home for Asia Elephant, Sloth Bear, Spotted deer, Wild Boar, water Buffalo and many other large size animals.(morning safari or afternoon safari)

Udawalawe National Park

Udawalawe National Park lies on the boundary of Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces, in Sri Lanka. The national park was created to provide a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir on the Walawe River, as well as to protect the catchment of the reservoir.Park is especially popular among Elephant lovers as it is the home for a great number of elephants. There are more than 400 elephants living there. During a visit it is not unusual to see big herds of adult and baby elephants feeding or bathing and playing in water. Bundala National Park

Bundala National Park is an ideal location to experience large number of migratory and resident birds.Bundala National Park is situated in the southeast part of the country in the semi-arid zone in the Southern Province. The park area consists mainly of dry thorny scrubland and lagoons. In addition, there are streams, seasonal water holes, tanks, salt marshes, mangroves, seashores and salterns, aspects that add to the diversity of habitat and the richness of its bio diversity.The abundance of lagoons has made Bundala an ideal location for a large number of migratory and resident birds. Up to 2,000 Grater Flamingos having been recorded during November – January season and the total bird population can exceed 20,000 during migratory season. Ella in Sri Lanka is a small laid-back town surrounded by the beautiful greens of tea. There are a lot of things to do in Ella.
