Day 1- Colombo Airport to Galle

On arrival, you will be met by a Chauffeur Guide of Tour Driver Sri Lanka who will offer assistance. Thereafter transfer and check-in to your hotel in Galle. On the way to galle visit Turtle Hatchery and Madu river safari.

Overnight stay at Galle.

Turtle Hatchery Kosgoda - Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery - Of the eight varieties of turtle know to exist, Sri Lanka has five and all are endangered. Turtle eggs, which would otherwise be eaten, are bought for a few rupees each from local fishermen & re-buried along the beach.

Madu River Boat safari - Madu ganga is situated in Balapitiya, along the country’s southern coast , within the Galle District of the southern Province of Sri Lanka. During your boat ride, you can see huge mangrove forest by the river banks. Boats will ride under short tunnel, which is made out of mangrove. You can see many birds and animals who are living in this aquatic environment.

Day 2 - Mirissa whale watching and travels to tangalle.

Next day having breakfast early leave to Mirissa for watching whales and mamals. And finally visit to tangalle.

Mirissa Whale Watching - Mirissa Whale watching remains a year around leisure activity in Sri Lanka. The waters off Mirissa in the southern coast of Sri Lanka are home to some of the largest whale and dolphin colonies in the world.

Day 3 - Tangalle

Next day after having breakfast visit move to beach. Enjoy relax beach.

Overnight stay at Tangalle.

Palm Paradise Beach Cabanas on Tangalle beach where the blue sky and the turquoise of the Indian Ocean unite in a warm, subtle and comfortable atmosphere.

Day 4 - Tangalle to Yala

Next day after having breakfast proceed to yala for wildlife safari. On the way to yala visit Kirinda Temple.

Kirinda Temple - Kirinda temple was built by king Kawanthissa. The beautiful beach and the temple built on the huge rock boulder on Kirinda beach are the main attractions of Kirinda. At its summit you will observe statues of Lord Buddha, Queen Viharamahadevi, a Stupa, the Devalaya, a Bo tree (Bodhimandapaya) and its temple.

Day 5 - Morning safari travels Ella

After having early breakfast visit morning safari to yala, and after next proceed to ella.

Yala Safari - Yala is Sri Lanka's most famous national park. Yala National Park has one of the highest densities of leopards, anywhere in the world. The leopard is also the top predator on the island. While the exclusive cat is the star here, 215 species of birds and over 44 diverse mammals call it home. Go for the morning safari in Yala National Park to see Leopards, Elephants, Deer, Crocodiles, Bear and many varieties of birds.

Ella - Ella in Sri Lanka is a small laid-back town surrounded by the beautiful greens of tea. The views through Ella Gap are stunning. Enjoy a nature trek through the plantations, as a guide explains how the bushes are picked and pruned every five years.

Day 6 - Travel to Nuwara Eliya

Next day visit to nuwara eliya. Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya, also known as ‘Little’ England’, was the favorite hill station of the British who tried to create the resort into a typical English Village.

Tea plantations and factories –  Nuwara Eliya is known for her impressive lush green tea plantations. There are many factories open for visitor’s which also have tea sales outlets. Tea plucking is an initial step in the tea making process. It is a delicate act that is artfully done by hand in order to eventually produce the finest quality tea.

Ramboda Falls – Ramboda Ella is the 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and located by the Pussellawa. The Ramboda Falls in Sri Lanka or Ramboda Ella or Puna Ella as these falls are called is created from Puna Oya, a tributary of Kothmale Oya. It will take 45 minutes to reach the Ramboda Falls which is at the end of the route tea plantations route.

Horton Plains –  Horton Plains in Sri Lanka is the coldest and windiest location in the country covered by wild grasslands and interspersed with patches of thick forest, rocky outcrops, filigree waterfalls and misty lakes.

Gregory Lake - Gregory Lake was build under the period of British Governor Sir William Gregory in 1873. The park near the lake gives you various activities such speed boat, swan boats, dinky boats, Pony ride and many more. During the April season, the park gets crowded and full of outdoor activities and sports.

Day 7 - Travels kandy

Next day proceed to Kandy. Kandy is one of the most beautiful cities of Sri Lanka that is known for its scenic beauty and rich cultural value. Another location is Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Pinnawala is the most popular and accessible place to see large numbers of these lovable animals in a natural habitat. Next to proceed Kandy temple. Kandy Temple of Tooth Relic to pay homage to Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha.

Kandy –  Kandy is the next biggest city in Sri Lanka, after the capital Colombo. Famous for the Temple of the Tooth and many other temples the city could be called the cultural capital of the island.

Pinnawala –  See baby jumbos wondering around their cramped foster home or bottle fed and bathed by their human foster fathers at Pinnawala, about 90Km from Colombo towards Kandy is the home to some 100 or more elephant orphans. The primary purpose of the orphanage has been to provide a lifeline to the orphaned baby elephants and adult elephants lost in the wilderness.

Kandy temple –  The Sri Dalada Maligawa or The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a temple in the city of Kandy in Sri Lanka. The Maligawa was once the royal palace inhabited by the king and his consorts, but after the demise of the Kandyan Kingdom the palace was transformed into a Buddhist temple that holds Buddha’s tooth.

Day 8 - Sigiriya

The frescoes are probably Sigiriya’s most popular attraction. The Sigiriya complex is considered one of the best preserved examples of ancient urban planning, The fortress is outlined with a web of gardens, tanks and structures.

Sigiriya Rock Fortress - Sigiriya is a world heritage site and should be in the list of must-see places in Sri Lanka. A palace. A rock fortress. The hidden castle of King Kasyapa. It is one of the 7 world heritage sites in Sri Lanka and is one of it’s most popular tourist destinations.

Day 9 - polonnaruwa and back to Sigiriya

Next day after having breakfast proceed to polonnaruwa ancient city.  Then You'll find the archaeological park a delight to explore, with hundreds of ancient structures – tombs and temples, statues and stupas – in a compact core. After visit polonnaruwa back to sigiriya.

Polonnaruwa Vatadage - The Polonnaruwa Vatadage is an ancient structure dating back to the Polonnaruwa period of Sri Lanka. Its outermost terrace is 18m in diameter, and the second terrace has four entrances flanked by particularly fine guardstones.

Nissanka Lata Mandapaya in Polonnaruwa - Nissanka Latha Mandapaya is a masterpiece of the highest order. The dagoba is encircled by curved stone pillars shaped like lotus stalks, topped by unopened buds.

Gal Potha (Stone Book) in Polonnaruwa - The Gal Potha which is found in close proximity to the Sath Mahal Prasadaya has been at the centre of attention for centuries. This Stone book is consists of three main sections a, 26 feet and 10 inch in length and 4 feet and 7 inch in width.

Gal Viharaya in Polonnaruwa - The Viharaya contains four Buddha statues, which have been carved on solid granite stone depicting irresistible sublimity. The Gal Vihara sculptures, each different in design, are undoubtedly  the most perfect specimen of Buddha statues hewn out of solid granite in Sri Lanka. 

Day 10 - Sigiriya to Negombo

Leave to negombo after having breakfast in hotel. Next to visit negombo city. You can visit Negombo relax beach,  Muthurajawela Bird Sanctuary  and Negombo Lagoon.

Negombo Beach - Negombo, more affectionately known as the “Little Rome” of Sri Lanka is a romantic little coastal town in close proximity to the Bandaranaike International Airport. Negombo is the perfect location for a beach holiday just before you set off to explore the rest of Sri Lanka or just before the end of your holiday in Sri Lanka. 

Muthurajawela Bird Sanctuary - Go on a wonderfully relaxing boat ride on the lagoon of Negombo. This tour takes you to the southern end of Negombo Lagoon to visit these pristine marshlands. The Sanctuary contains a high diversity of both flora and fauna, including several endemic and nationally threatened species, and also provides an important area for migratory birds.

Day 11 - Negombo to Airport drop

Today is the last day of your 11 day tour, after breakfast, you will be driven to the airport in time to catch your flight back home.
